Vineyard Manhattan is a contemporary church with roots hearkening back to the revivals that bore fruit across the world in the form of the Vineyard movement of non-denominational churches. We believe in the authority of the Bible and long to behold together the Kingdom of Heaven in New York City as we pursue our shared mission: to witness to the reality of God and to call people to faith in Jesus Christ.

We want to behold the reality of God and His work in our city. At Vineyard Manhattan, we long to see New York City behold and believe in the Kingdom of Heaven, one New Yorker at a time.

ENDURING TO SEE A CITY TRANSFORMED

We’ve watched God sustain us through some of New York City’s most difficult days. As a church situated in the heart of midtown Manhattan, we experienced firsthand what it meant to endure and persevere through hard days both during and in the aftermath of the COVID pandemic. However, even as we’ve emerged on the other side of that crucible, we’re more convinced than ever that God is not done with his Church in New York City. We are witnessing firsthand that God is transforming the city as it encounters and believes in the spiritual reality of the Kingdom of Heaven in our midst. As a church that meets in Midtown, we want to see God at work as he calls us together from all over the city.

BELIEVE

A SIGN OF HEAVEN IN NEW YORK CITY

Witnessing to the spiritual reality of the Kingdom of Heaven in our city means that we are a church that exists for purposes that transcend our own four walls. At Vineyard Manhattan we seek to put action to the faith we proclaim; our verbal proclamation of the Good News is supported by physical demonstration of that same Good News. As we read biblical truth and proclaim the authority of God, we believe that we will see both miraculous works of God’s spiritual power and the people of God mobilized to perform works of service, mercy, and justice for a watching world, that everyone might come to the knowledge of the Kingdom of Heaven and the love of God in Christ Jesus.

We can’t guarantee you a flawless group of people who have it all figured out, but we can offer you a community that operates under the conviction of the power and credibility of belief in God for this time and place.
